About Us

The owners have received help over the past 50 years from wives, children, neighbors and anyone else who stood too close.  Associations with National Christmas Tree Association and Missouri Christmas Tree Producers have contributed to the skills needed to produce quality trees.

Primary species grown on our plantations are scotch and white pine.  We are adding Cannan fir with the hope of expanding varieties available. Pre-cut, imported firs round out the selection at Christmas.

Quality trees are our aim.  We have demonstrated quality by winning at the Missouri state and national contests.  Our trees have been featured at Missouri state capitol for five governors since 1981.  In 1994 we were co-champion at the national convention and as a result, presented the White House Blue room tree to Hillary Clinton.  (31 family members made the trip to Washington, D.C.).

Santa's Forest has been open daily from Friday after Thanksgiving until we sell out of trees or Christmas comes...whichever comes first.  We use hay wagons to help customers get their trees.  Santa Claus is a visitor on weekends.

Our sales shed boasts a gift shop, greenery arrangements, wreaths, roping, flocked trees and a weekend concession stand.
